For years, the Nissan LEAF has been the choice for drivers looking for an electrified powertrain to fuel their eco-friendly journeys. With the 2023 model, drivers are privy to an updated design, more standard tech, and a choice between two well-equipped trim levels — S and SV PLUS.
“A competitive price point paired with a host of standard technology features and refreshed design makes Nissan LEAF a truly attractive option for anyone considering an EV,” said Aditya Jairaj, director, EV Marketing and Sales, Nissan U.S.

The refreshed Nissan LEAF features an upscale interior with new black cloth seating. The S grade boasts gray finishers while the SV PLUS opts for finishers in black. The Nissan brand logo is prevalent on the exterior and interior.
Advanced safety is standard on both trims courtesy of the automaker’s innovative suite of driver assist technologies, Nissan Safety Shield® 360. For added peace of mind, you will appreciate the ProPILOT Assist and Intelligent Around View Monitor systems that are offered on the SV PLUS trim.
Another difference between the trim levels revolves around the battery option and its corresponding range. The 2023 LEAF S utilizes a 40 kWh battery to earn an EPA-estimated range of 149 miles. The SV PLUS trim has a 60 kWh battery to generate an EPA-estimated driving range of 212 miles.
