With the debut of the 2023 Nissan Z, your dream of driving a sports car may be one step closer to coming true. Owning such an automotive statement will not only captivate the attention of everyone around you, it will also unleash driving thrills every time you get behind the wheel.
“When we introduced the Z in 1969, the Z was a revolution. Since then, for more than 50 years, Nissan has brought style, speed, reliability and so much more to millions of enthusiasts around the world,” said Ashwani Gupta, representative executive officer, and chief operating officer, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
Redesigned for the 2023 model year, the Z still pays respect to the original model’s look with similar exterior elements. You’ll recognize the low rear stance and long hood of the iconic model. A driver-centric cockpit, available leather-appointed sports seats, and an available Bose® audio system with eight speakers are just a few notable features of the interior.
Under the hood of the 2023 Z pumps a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine that generates 400 horsepower. You have two transmission options: a six-speed manual transmission with motorsports-inspired EXEDY® high-performance clutch and a new nine-speed automatic transmission with aluminum paddle shifters.
The 2023 Z offers two trim levels — Sport and Performance. A limited run of 240 units will be produced for the Z “Proto Spec” edition.
“This latest iteration is now ready to thrill Z enthusiasts, and create a whole new generation of Z fans as well, when it comes to market here in the U.S. early next year,” adds Gupta.
