The Nissan Rogue is a best-selling model in the Nissan lineup, and for 2022, it’s better than ever. Thanks to a myriad of enhancements along with the Rogue’s already stellar features, tech, and comforts, the compact SUV will make your commutes more enjoyable (even when you’re dreading going to work).
More power equals greater thrills
The all-new 1.5-liter variable compression (VC) Turbo offers the Rogue lineup intense power and a responsive performance thanks to an enhanced Xtronic® transmission. The VC-Turbo™ engine generates 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. These ratings are 11 percent and 24 percent higher, respectively, than what the Rogue’s engine generated in the 2021 model. That added power doesn’t sacrifice fuel-efficiency in the 2022 Rogue. In fact, the 2022 Rogue boasts a greater combined mpg rating — 33 mpg — compared to last year’s model. The innovative VC-Turbo™ engine will be manufactured in Decherd, Tennessee, at the automaker’s powertrain facility.
“Rogue’s new 1.5-liter VC-Turbo adds real-world value while providing more thrill behind the wheel,” said Mike Colleran, senior vice president, Nissan U.S. Marketing and Sales.
The 2022 Nissan Rogue offers a choice of four trim levels — S, SV, SL, and Platinum. Each trim offers a choice between FWD and AWD.
